Applying knowledge to real-world challenges.

You will complete a practicum consisting of either two short (2 months) or one long (4 months) applied experience. This course will provides you with an opportunity to integrate translational science, innovation and clinical knowledge using a live case study from the healthcare industry. You may elect to complete the practicum component at your own workplace or other location.

 

Weekend Residencies

indianapolisWeekend residency sessions are held one weekend per month in Indianapolis on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  These residency sessions allow you the opportunity to learn and engage with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare leaders and tackle real-world problems through practical application and a team-based approach.

Saturday
7:30AM 8:00AM Arrive on campus.  Connect with your classmates over breakfast before lecture begins.
8:00AM 12:00PM Lecture
12:00PM 1:00PM “Lunch and Learn” featuring an industry guest speaker
1:00PM 5:00PM Case Study and skill application
6:00PM 8:00PM Networking Social at local favorite restaurant with class mates, faculty and staff!
Sunday
7:30AM 8:00AM Arrive on campus and grab breakfast.  Recap the previous day’s residency session.
8:00AM 12:00PM Lecture
12:00PM 1:00PM Lunch on campus
1:00PM 5:00PM Case Study and skill application
5:15PM Time to head home!
